Barclays conducts smart spenders campaign trolley dash

BARCLAYS Bank Zambia Plc has conducted a trolley dash for smart spenders campaign winners.
The bank announced the two winners of the first trolley dash as part of the smart spenders campaign which was launched on 16 December last year and will run through to February 28 this year.
This is aimed at recognising customer loyalty and their support to the bank.
With a total investment of K300,000, four customers will be awarded a grand prize of a fully paid for holiday for two at the destination of their choice within Zambia, to the value of K30,000. Also part of the campaign, Barclays Bank Zambia Plc offered customers bi-weekly prizes of a supermarket trolley dash valued at K2, 500 each.
Mr Chewe Mwango from Lusaka and Mr Alexander Chanda Chileshe from Mufulira, emerged winners of the first trolley dash at Pick N Pay garden city in Lusaka and Mukuba Mall in Kitwe outlets respectively.

Regina Mulenga said the bank was delighted to give back to its customers through the competition and would remain committed to ensuring that customers access banking products and services at their convenience.
Ms Mulenga said the entry into the competition was automatic once customers paid using their debit or credit cards, offering the convenience to pay without carrying large sums of cash when shopping.
The winners of the competition are entered into a draw adjudicated by independent auditors.
She said the bank will continue to increase customer awareness on the various digital and alternate banking solutions that simplify the customers’ banking experience.
Barclays Bank Zambia Plc has invested K25 million in technology including the introduction faster and reliable Post of Sale Machines as well as Mobile Point of Sale machines, enhanced mobile and internet banking platforms, increased number of deposit-taking ATMs.
Other digital channels have also been launched aimed at improving customer experience.
Ms Mulenga said as an award-winning bank, Barclays Bank Zambia Plc will continue to invest in enhancing the services offered to customers while continuing to participate as an integral part in the development of the economy.
She said customers can enjoy world-class banking solutions that the bank is known for.
