NEWLY appointed Monze Swallows coach Fewdays Musonda said he was delighted to join the club.
Musonda replaced Chris Kaunda, who ditched the club weeks before the MTN-FAZ Super League kicks-off.
The former Happy Hearts coach was unveiled as head coach having attended interviews earlier when he made the three man shortlist that also included Dean Mwiinde before the executive settled for Kaunda.
“I am very delighted to be with Swallows F.C, I can assure the club executive and sponsors of the team a long stay in the FAZ Super League” Musonda said in a statement released by communications manager Tim Zulu.
Musonda watched his new side edge Division One outfit Kascol Rangers 4 -1 in a friendly match played on Saturday afternoon.
He will be assisted by Reuben Njanvera, Erick Njobvu and Mwala Hachuma. Swallows have registered 36 players ahead of 2018 Super League campaign.
Club chairperson Justine Ngosa thanked sponsors Seedco and Monze Town Council for their continued support.
