ABOUT 78 per cent of invited stakeholders attended the two-day National Democracy Stakeholders Summit (NDSS), Zambia Centre for Inter-Party Dialogue (ZCID) has said.
ZCID board chairperson Nathan Mulonga said the absence of some stakeholders like the United Party for National Development (UPND) and some Church mother bodies would not compromise the legitimacy or resolutions that would be made at the meeting.
The positive turn out at the meeting demonstrated willingness by Zambians to find a lasting solution to the emerging trend where differences among players resulted after an election. – Read more
