THE Zambia Co-operative Federation (ZCF) says Government can save up to K600 million on the Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP) initiative by revising the format to make it more efficient and less taxing on the Treasury in line with current austerity measures.
ZCF Director General James Chirwa said yesterday there was need to review and redesign the FISP to enable it produce the national strategic reserves Zambia needs without the programme blowing such a massive hole in the Treasury.
