Export earnings decline by 23.4 p.c

ZAMBIA’s Non-Traditional Exports (NTEs) earnings declined by 23.4 per cent to K1, 746 million in January 2019.
The NTEs decreased to K1, 746 million in January 2019 from K2, 280 million in December last year, Central Statistical Office (CSO) acting director of Census and Statistics Iven Sikanyiti said.
In terms of share in total exports, NTEs recorded an average of 23.3 per cent in revenue earnings between January 2019 and December 2018.
