CBU students, lecturers clash on VC’s India trip

COPPERBELT University (CBU) students and their lecturers have differed on vice chancellor Naison Ngoma’s trip to India to recruit academic staff with the latter saying the trip is costly to the institution.
Acting Copperbelt University Students Union (COBUSU) president Christopher Mutale said the trip was a demonstration that management was concerned with the delivery of quality education at the institution.
Mr Mutale said the trip to search for qualified lecturers should be supported because it was in the best interest of the students.
