JUST two Zambians from a field of 30 that entered the ongoing Mopani/Redpath/Green Door 2019 Zambia Open golf tournament will go into the final two rounds despite the cut set a unprecedented high of seven-over-par.
And it was the usual suspects in Madalitso Muthiya and Dayne Moore.
But that was just half the story as the low scores continued and actually got worse.
Numbers do not lie and the scoreboard told the story better.
On the first day, up to 11 players ended with a score in the under brackets (though seven of them were just one-under), and yesterday it was brought to an astonishing record and just three made that prestigious club after two days of golf.
