PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu, Attorney General Likando Kalaluka and the National Assembly of Zambia have asked the Constitutional Court to dismiss the petition filed by the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) against the proposed constitutional amendment process.
President Lungu, Mr Kalaluka and the National Assembly who are respondents in the petition in which LAZ has petitioned Constitutional Court challenging the government’s decision to amend the Constitution through Bill number 10 of 2019, have raised three questions of law which they feel can lead to the dismissal of the case in its entirety.
