FORTY-TWO job seekers have been swindled out of close to K20,000 by fraudsters promising them jobs at Lubambe Copper Mines (LCM).
LCM communications manager Loyce Saili confirmed the scam in which the fraudsters were targeting graduates and others in desperate need of jobs.
“We want to urge the general public to be alert of unscrupulous people collecting money from them on the pretext that they will be offered jobs by the mine (LCM). These people should stop it immediately, this is a fraud,” Ms Saili said.
