THE International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Government have agreed that there is urgent need for more policy adjustments related to debt management, income and spending patterns to address economic challenges caused by food and power shortages.
Secretary to the Treasury Fredson Yamba said in a statement yesterday to mark the end of the IMF team visit that both the Fund and Government agreed on the need to implement policy adjustments to address the weak economy as a result of negative effects of food and power shortages.
