THE Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has recorded a warn-and-caution statement from former Zambia Railways chief executive officer Muyenga Atanga on a matter involving corruption.
The ACC recorded the statement yesterday at the ACC offices after interviewing Mr Atanga.
Mr Atanga confirmed in an interview that ACC officers had questioned him on a procurement that happened when he was CEO at Zambia Railways.
He said the ACC had recorded a warn-and-caution statement from him but gave no further details of the allegations, saying only; “I am just wondering why bring this up after five years since leaving Zambia Railways.”.
