MARKETS will remain open as Government implements measures to help mitigate the spread of Coronavirus in highly populated trading places.
Local Government Minister Charles Banda said markets were classified under the essential services and that it was important for those selling non essential items to stay home during Covid-19 period.
“There are two issues that we need to deal with non-essential and essential services. When you talk about markets those cannot be classified under non essential services.
