By CHATULA KANGALI –
POULTRY feed prices have continued to rise on the local market due to short supply of maize and the local currency depreciation, the Poultry Association of Zambia( PAZ) has said.
PAZ executive manager Dominic Chanda said feed prices in the past one week had increased from K343.03 to
K384 per 50 kilogramme of broiler feed, with Copperbelt fetching the highest at K394.
Mr Chanda said in an interview that despite the increase in feed prices, chicken prices had remained unchanged with an average price of one costing between K50 and K60 across the country.
