FNB’s CashPlus records K4.85bn transactions

MORE than K4.85 billion has been transacted through the First National Bank (FNB) Zambia CashPlus agency banking model from its inception in 2018 to-date.
The CashPlus agency banking model had exceeded 1,000 active agents as at May 2021, FNB Zambia chief executive officer, Bydon Longwe said in Lusaka yesterday.
Speaking at the CashPlus milestone celebration, Mr Longwe said the service had enabled the bank to positively contribute to Government’s financial inclusion agenda and provide alternative transaction channel for its clients.
