Fans of the MTN Super League have been spoilt with wonderful football excitement in 2021. This weekend past saw some of the last matches for the year taking place with match day 17 out of 34 being played. The first of the two matches that took place on the 24 th was between Prison Leopards and ZESCO United. The match took place at 13:00 at the Godfrey Chitalu stadium with second place ZESCO United walking away with a win 1-0 after the final whistle. The second match on the 24th also took place at the Godfrey Chitalu stadium and saw 10 th seed Kabwe Warriors and 11th seed Zanaco.
Zanaco was the better team on the day and won the match 2-1. There now remains only one match left for the Super League in 2021 and will be played on the 31 st of December. The last match for 2021 will see fifth place Red Arrows take on 11th position Zanaco at the Sunset Stadium in Lusaka. The match will kick off at 15:00 and promises to be a great encounter for both teams. Matches in the MTN Super League will kick off again on the eight of January with match day 18 out of 34.
