GOVERNMENT is committed to ratifying the Walvis Bay-Ndola-Lubumbashi corridor agreement in order to support booming business in Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Transport and Logistics Minister Frank Tayali said the corridor agreement was important in enhancing trade between Zambia and the DRC, and seeks to harmonise operating procedures and changes along the corridor.
“Business is booming in both the DRC and Zambia as we expand our economies. This corridor gives us an alternative to the sea and Government is committed to ratifying this agreement,” he said.
