Muthiya, Chiluba to pre-qualify for Swazi Open

ZAMBIA’s star golfer Madalitso Muthiya and Kangwine Chiluba will be required to pre-qualify for the Lombard Insurance Classic Swaziland Golf Open tournament that starts next weekend.
According to the list of entries for the tournament to be played at the Royal Swazi Sun Country Club, Muthiya and Chiluba will have to take part in the pre-qualifier on May 30 in order to get a place in the Swazi Open.
The Lombard Insurance Classic Swaziland Golf Open will run from May 31 to June 2 and will be preceded by two Pro-Ams which will each have 104 players taking part.
Muthiya who got a straight entry into the Zimbabwe and Zambia Open has not had it easy since missing the cut in Zimbabwe and finishing just four under par in the Zambia Open and will have to qualify to play in the main event.
The two Zambians will be joined in the qualifiers by Zimbabwean Tango Charamba who after a good start to the Zambia Open, faltered to finish three over par.
But 2013 Zambia Open champion, Adilson Da Silva of Brazil will not need to qualify and so will 2012 champion Justin Harding, among others.
