PRESIDENT Michael Sata yesterday left for South Africa to visit his son, Kazimu who was evacuated to Johannesburg after being involved in a road traffic accident.
The President, who is accompanied by First Lady Christine Kaseba, posted on his Facebook page around 16:00 hours that he had gone to see his son who is admitted to Milpark Hospital.
Mr Sata also posted the pictures where he and Dr Kaseba were on the bed side of Kazimu at the hospital.
“Good Afternoon Dear Friends, Today, I am in South Africa visiting my son Kazimu at Milpark Hospital,” he said.
Kazimu, who was involved in a road traffic accident on the Kitwe-Ndola Dual Carriage Way last Tuesday with several others, is receiving treatment at Milpark Hospital in South Africa.
The accident happened around 17:30 hours near Kitwe’s Moba Hotel when the vehicle on which he was travelling overturned.
He was earlier admitted to Kitwe’s Wusakile Mine Hospital before being evacuated for specialist treatment in South Africa on Wednesday evening.
