IN exactly nine days time, Africa will turn its eyes to the ninth season of the most watched and followed reality show, Big Brother Africa as it returns on Sunday with an exciting and charming theme Hotshots!
Who is representing Zambia this time around … what about the other 13 participating nations … who will walk out of the dramatic house with US$ 300, 000 richer this year … who will create more talking points and just many more questions.
It’s more swag, more glamour and more Big Brother Africa! The continent’s biggest reality show returns with more twists than ever before!
AfricaMagic can reveal that this season’s housemates have hidden talents, adore the spotlight and will let nothing stand in the way of their pursuit of fame and fortune.
M-Net Africa regional director (West Africa), Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, says the viewers are in for many surprises.
“We work hard to make each season of Big Brother Africa bigger than the last – and we’ve really upped the ante this year,” she says.
She goes on to say: “Big Brother Hotshots is going to bring viewers exciting innovations, heart-stopping twists and uniquely African glamour, 24/7 for 91 days. Both fans and housemates are in for some unmissable television!”
The housemates will start the game in two ultra-glamorous houses which are built with magic, fun and mischief in mind.
For 91 days, they will do their best to outshine each other in the hope of convincing Africa that they are the continent’s biggest Hotshot.
They will party like A-listers, rub shoulders with celebrity guests and face formidable challenges, all while negotiating Biggie’s famous curveballs and twists.
The logo for Big Brother Hotshots hints at the glamorous aspects of this season – but viewers will have to stay tuned 24/7 to see what Biggie has planned for the talented group of housemates!
What would Big Brother Africa be without a fantastic host to help give the housemates a chance to shine? Nigerian star IK Osakioduwa returns for his sixth stint as host and will taunt, tease, comfort and dance with the housemates on the Big Brother stage.
Last year, Zambia was at the verge of winning the life changing US $300,000 through the female representative Cleo, the Ice Queen, who was the runner up to the wining Dilish of Namibia.
