Letters to the Editor -LogoAS we go for the presidential by-elections in January 2015, all political parties and presidential candidates to avoid promising impossibilities to the electorates.
All candidates should ensure that they follow what is in their respective manifestos, though they have the right to sell themselves to the voters.
We want promises that are attainable not fake ones. Zambians are now enlightened including those in rural parts of the country.
It is easy for one to inform old parents and relatives back home on the promises certain parties are making via
Lastly, we are not going to be interested in candidates and parties that will engage in insults and character assassination of rivals.
We want peaceful, free and fair elections in the next two months.

Good luck Chipolopolo

I AM wishing the Chipolopolo boys to put smiles on our faces by beating Mozambique at their home ground.
Beating the Mambas will be a great honour to the late Michael Chilufya Sata who was FAZ patron.
With Emmanuel Mayuka and Evans Kangwa in the team we are going to win on Saturday.

PF will win presidential poll

IT is widely expected that the Patriotic Front (PF) will carry the day in the forthcoming presidential by-election following the demise of President Michael Chilufya Sata.
PF will win because of what the late President and his team has done in the last three years of being in power.
The massive development recorded within a short period gives hope of better things to come under the new leadership of PF who will carry on the vision of President Sata of transforming Zambia.
It is important and necessary to remind each other on what PF is doing like construction and rehabilitation of roads, building more schools, health centres, universities and other things.
Others includes opening up closed manufacturing industries like Kapiri Glass Products and Mulungushi Textiles which President Sata left in a pipeline.
Going by the development which is there for all to see and more in the pipeline, come 2015 Presidential by- election, PF will not even campaign a lot because the development would have campaigned on their behalf.
Many people will agree with me that President Sata had interest of the masses at heart and as such took development to all parts of Zambia.
This is evident by the way people across Zambia continue to mourn him.

Good luck Chipolopolo
