“As FAZ, we are happy with the gains achieved in football this year and I also wish to send heartfelt congratulations to Zesco for winning the 2014 MTN-FAZ Super League and indeed for emerging winners of the Barclays Cup,” he said.
Kalusha also congratulated his former club, ‘Mighty’ Mufulira Wanderers, Lusaka Dynamos, Nkwazi and Forest Rangers for winning promotion back into the elite league.
“The association is pleased with the qualitative competition in the Super League and also in Division One North and South as it is self-evident, the quality gap among the teams is reducing, hence the competition we are seeing in our football today,” he said.

“We dedicate the achievements of the national team in 2014 to various clubs for their tireless efforts and dedication to the national cause.??He also thanked the co-operating partners for their input during this year’s soccer season among them Government, MTN Zambia, Sports Council of Zambia (SCZ), Zambian Breweries and SuperSport.
