ZAMBIA’s envoy in the Big Brother house Macky 2, who arrived on Wednesday night, says he was devastated to be the last Zambian to learn about President Michael Sata’s death just after the grand finale.
The Hip Hop star says he could not even gather strength to attend the after party that was organised for all the hotshots by Big Brother after the closure of the reality show.
According to him, the news of the former President’s death hit him so hard that nothing; not even the losing of the money mattered as it could by far not be compared to such a huge national loss.
Macky 2, who went to the burial site of the president to pay his last respect described, Mr Sata as a father and a man who stood firm and true to the hustlers and needy.
“I felt so bad more especially that I was fond of talking about him whilst in the Big Brother House without knowing he was gone. If I was told about his death, whilst in the house, I would have considered quitting the game, because the man was like a father to me,” he says.
Macky 2 has, however, described the experience in the Big Brother House as a greatly benefit to him as an individual and to the country’s music fraternity.
Although he is back without the much desired US$ 300,000 grand prize, Macky 2 still feels he has gained remarkable mileage to earn him the equivalent amount in a short period of time!
The Zambian representative in the big Brother House arrived in the country on Wednesday night after a 61-day escapade in the hands of Big Brother and says he is proud and happy to have reached the finale though he would have loved to come back with the money.
