‘GENERAL’ Ozzy is currently in the studio working on a yet-to-be titled Extended Play (EP) project which is expected to be released next month.
The project would feature artistes from Zambia, East and West Africa.
An EP is a musical recording that contains more music than a single, but is usually too short to qualify as a full studio album.
To date, General Ozzy has released five albums which include The General, General Eyes, The Trilogy, Kobili and 5 Star.
Those albums have produced popular singles like Osalila, Chino chalo, Wenye, Nimusanga, Potential, Chimutengo and Take my heart.
Meanwhile, General Ozzy is happy that his Rhythm and Blues music younger brother Roberto is stirring the airwaves with his popular song Amarula, an indication that their Brathahood Music record label was bearing fruit.
“It’s a big tune. It’s a plus for our studio, Brathahood Music. We didn’t start yesterday; we didn’t start two years ago or three years ago. We’ve been trying to put this Brathahood Music thing for years, trust me. Over 10 years and finally it’s here,” he said. Besides the recording studio, ‘General’ Ozzy was happy to note that being focused has also led to the brothers having their own distribution line, engaging someone to shoot and distribute their videos throughout Africa as well as a network of managers across the Continent.
He assured his fans that Brathahood Music will this year produce more good music even from the new signee Young Riko, who is recording his album at the moment.
