MEDICAL Stars secretary Mathews Chileshe faces disciplinary action by the FAZ Division Two north side for alleged misconduct.
And Medical Stars have appealed to the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) to take stern action against football administrator, Alex Mambwe, for interfering in the running of the club by claiming to be chairperson.
Medical Stars vice chairperson Joseph Musowoya said in Ndola yesterday that it was an act of indiscipline for Chileshe to side with Mambwe, who he supported to be club chairperson when he was not.
Musowoya, who was flanked by chairperson Green Sikapizye, treasurer Samuel Billima and committee member Ng’andwe Kalungwana, denounced Mambwe, who had issued a statement against FAZ on the appointment of Chintu Kampamba as assistant Chipolopolo coach on behalf of the club purporting to be chairperson.
On Sunday, Chileshe backed Mambwe saying the latter was voted back as chairperson during an emergency meeting which the quartet dismissed as not having taken place maintaining that Sikapizye was the rightful leader of the club.
