BRIEF-CASETHERE is need for the government to come up with a clear stance on the milling plants, which are supposed to be established in all parts of the country.

$24m for coffee-

NORTHERN Coffee Corporation Limited (NCC) deserves commending for injecting US$24 million into its coffee plantation in Kasama.
The capital injection aims at expanding operations and in the long-run, this will provide employment opportunities for the local community.
Coffee production is one area in agriculture that has not reached its peak in production levels and other offshoot benefits and, therefore, any efforts aimed at growing the sector should be commended.
