A FIFTEEN-YEAR-OLD girl has narrated how her teacher gave her pills before having sex with her.
Ben Sichoongo a teacher at Kabanga Primary School is facing defilement charges before Magistrate Temwani Mhango.
Sichoongo between January 1 and April 1, this year allegedly had sex with the girl.
The girl told the court that in January, Sichoongo her teacher proposed love to her and took her to a bush near a clinic, where he gave her contraceptives and told her to take the pills every time they would engage in sex.
She said after having sex with Sichoongo the first time, he gave her a K50 and told her not to tell anyone about it.
They allegedly had sex in the bush five times and every time they had sex, he would ask her to take the pill.
When she told Sichoongo that she was pregnant, he gave her a K100 and told her to take sodium bicarbonate to get rid of the pregnancy.
She went on to tell court that in April, her father confronted her about the relationship and when she confessed, he reported the matter to the police.
Meanwhile, her mother Febby Hajava told the court that she discovered that her daughter was going out with the teacher and was having sex with him.
She also said her daughter informed her that the teacher gave her K50 and family planning pills to take so she doesn’t get pregnant.
Magistrate Mhango has set June 12 for ruling.
