Fashion mashes with music at Inters

LUSAKA’S Hotel Inter-Continental last weekend threw an extravaganza night of music and fashion with performances by Muso Meyers, as patrons celebrated the two industries.
Backed by a live band the young, gifted and talented singer captivated the serene environs of hotel’s Safari Bar when she dished out a number tracks to soothe the mood of attendees.
One could not believe that the band was formed barely a week ago, yet there were able to enthrall the revelers who converged at one of the country’s five star hotel to ‘feed’ their heart and souls with entertainment.
While most of her songs were easy on the ear and a compilation only equal to legends such as American singers Tina Turner and Dolly Parton, a number titled Strangers in Love was well received by the audience who digested the music with vitality.
The patrons could be seen wriggling their waists as they quenched their thirst for music entertainment which they diluted with an assortment of beverages which were on offer.
In a country whose artistes are accustomed to lip-synching, Muso and her band breathed where a breath of fresh air as they were able to offload the very best of live music which most people have for long being yearning for.
A multi-talented singer/song writer Muso Meyers who was born and bred in Lusaka, Zambia has  previously performed locally and internationally.
She has also shared the stage with other artistes performing in South Africa, Malawi, Tanzania, Switzerland, and Denmark and has also tested the Asian audience in Thailand.
Immediately she was done with her performance, Muso took to social media to thank her fans with a posting on Facebook saying: ‘’A big thanks to everyone who came out to show love and support at the music and fashion night at Hotel Inter-Continental.
I surely felt the love and guess what??? Am back baby!!! To doing what completes me. And to my newly formed band only one week old, not even the sky is the limit’’.
