MUSIC, poetry and cultural dances spiced up the Wasala Music Festival which was held last weekend at the Russian Embassy in Lusaka.
The event, which was mainly attended by youths, witnessed performances from the likes of Beyond Limit, Basic Canons, House of Consciousness , Nothing But Voices (NBV), Fofolosho and others who captivated the audiences with their God given talents.
While all the participants without a doubt gave out spirited performances, Folofosho, which comprises of youngsters from Lusaka’s Ng’ombe Township, stole the show with their salacious dancing skills.
The ensemble comprising of boys and girls aged between 10 and 15 years wiggled their waists as if they had applied okra to them.
Not to be out done by the Folofosho, the House of Consciousness also managed to churn out an energetic cultural dance which was well appreciated by the attendees.
Those in the audience who could not resist the traditional dance joined in to display their dancing skills.
