SINGER Jordan Katembula last Friday set Lusaka’s East Point nightspot on fire when he made a stop over as he celebrated  his birthday.
Apart from celebrating his birthday, JK also released his latest single titled Open, a song produced by Peezey Cables.

Arguably, one of the country’s best selling artistes and a crowd puller, JK electrified the joint located in Kabwata Township with his energetic stage performances  sending the hundreds of patrons agog.
It was  push and pull especially for female patrons who were jostling to be near the stage as they could not get enough of what the soloist had in store for them.
Mobile phone cameras were constantly flashing with revellers taking pictures and selfies while dancing to the music which was being offloaded to them without paying any ngwee as entry fee.
The Paduze hit maker offloaded a couple of songs including his latest single titled Open, a number which was released for the first time on the night.
Open is a song that that talks about a relationship situation where a lady is shutting her man off and he is asking her to open up to him and say what is going on.
A staple food of Zambia’s entertainment menu, his patrons appreciate JK for being that musician that constantly evolves and adapts to trends and in some cases sets them himself , hence earning a spot among the elite on the music showbiz.
On September 5, he is expected to tour the US for a music gig in Florida where he will perform alongside Zambian song bird Kay Figo, Shenky and DJ Bizzy wizzy.
In October, JK and Copperbelt based rapper Marky 2 are expected  to thrill patrons in South Africa during Zambia’s Independence celebrations at Alicats pub in Randburg.
