KOPALA’S Macky2 mesmerised fans at Chobro Masaka night-club in Choma last Friday with an electric performance that left many crying for more.
Scores of fans from all walks of life packed the night club to catch a glimpse of Macky2.
The show was supposed to start at 19:00 hours but by 23:00 hours, scores of fans were still marooned outside, some were trying to negotiate their way inside as the K25 gate charge was way to high for them.
The ‘stranded’ fans were heard screaming at the door-bouncers saying’ you guys, that K25 you are charging to enter is too much next time reduce the gate charges to K15’
The show, however, reached its crescendo around 24:00 hours when Macky2 took to the dance floor with some fans shouting “The Kopala Swag Boy’ welcome to Choma.
The area near the stage was swarmed by hundreds of youths who wanted to take pictures of the celebrated artiste.
Macky2 shook the audience with his already known tracks, such as So Much More, Ndimupondo, Bana Chanda and Google, as the fans sang along.
As they continued to enjoy the show the fans were shocked when Macky2 announced that he would be leaving.
The singer wrapped up the show before being whisked away by his security men.
Macky2 urged youths to focus on education and desist from engaging in illicit activities that might ruin their lives.
He reminded the underage to refrain from patronising bars and engaging in illicit sexual activities.
