GREEN Eagles will today be eager to add the Heroes Sevens Rugby Championship to their two titles they have won this season.
Eagles will be hosting the Heroes Sevens in Kabwe where 20 teams are gunning for the K10,000 top prize.
However, defending champions, Red Arrows will miss out in the competition.
Eagles will be eyeing to add a third cup trophy of the season after jointly winning the Ndola Sevens with Nkwazi and the Owen Busange Sevens Rugby championship.
The hosts will be up against Green Buffaloes, Kitwe Playing Field (KPF), Prop Sevens B and Konkola in Pool A while Pool B has Nkwazi, KPF B, Buffaloes B, Roan Antelope and Copperbelt University.
Chibuluma are in Pool C with Lusaka, Mufulira, Nkwazi B and Ndola Wanderers while Pool D consists of Diggers, Eagles B, Prisons, Nchanga and Props Sevens A.
Eagles secretary Lupapa Malama said the Zambia National Service-sponsored event had a budget of K90, 000.
Malama said the champions would get K10,000 with losing finalists getting K7,500.
Player of the tournament will walk away with K1, 000 and the Plate winners will receive K6,000 and while the losing finalists will pick K4,500.
The women winners will be rewarded K3,000 while K2,000 will go to the runners-up.
