CHIPOLOPOLO striker Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba has vowed to work hard to earn a regular place at Belgian Second Division side Lierse Sk.
Kampamba, who expressed happiness with his one-year loan move, said playing in the Belgian League will greatly help him develop his career.
“I will be leaving for Belgium in two weeks time, I am very excited with the move and I just want to work hard and be a regular by making the starting line up,” Kampamba said in an interview from Egypt.
Kampamba’s loan deal from his Egyptian club Weda Degla, where he signed a three–and-a–half year deal, is effective December 1.
The former Nkana striker, who was instrumental in helping Zambia qualify for the Senegal 2015 African Under-23 Championship, hopes to learn a lot in Belgium.
“The league in Egypt in competitive and I have learnt a lot despite not scoring as many goals as I would have wanted. But I am sure I will learn more in Belgium, I was there for trials and I think I will learn more from playing there and God willing, I will start scoring goals,” he said.
