Beautifully Healthy LogoTODAY I will tackle a vital topic dealing with bad hair days.
I think it is safe to say that almost everyone has dealt with a bad hair day at some point.
It’s really a confidence killer and you feel like you cannot go anywhere and would rather stay home.
It doesn’t have to be like that, there are a lot of things that you can do to ensure that you walk out of the house looking and feeling great.
The one method that never fails is a head wrap. Find and experiment with different ways of tying it and you should be fine.
Invest in a beanie cap or a small fancy head sock to help hide it but ensure that you wear a satin cap under because cotton dries out your hair.
Accesorise, Accesorise  put some little water and oil in your hair, ruffle it out and then wear a bold lipstick, or add bright chunky jewellery such as earrings, hoops, flowers just try whatever feels right and you will get the hang of it eventually.
http://kinkycurlycoilyme.com in its article on easy techniques for bad hair days advises the following.
Spray your hair with water, oil your hands and then brush your hair with a paddle brush after which you can roll and tuck your hair.
The style I have always run to from the days when I had a Tiny afro to now is a puff.
So I spritz my hair with water and oil mixture, not too much water as then your hair will shrink.
Brush it up or apply shea butter and smooth it over then die a scarf or hair band which will stretch the hair up.
I also like just doing a braid (Big Mukule) in a fancy style and heading out when I have a bad hair day or am just too lazy to do anything to my hair.
Pins are your best friend and trust me when that bad hair day is looming, utilise them just keep them safe because we all know how they get lost.
In my case the many times I experience a bad hair day especially when am flying what I do is  wet my hair and then stretch it with my fingers after which I then either do twists or braids.
When I reach my destination voila my hair is back to atleast a semblance of its normal state.
