THE Peace Preachers who came on the scene with their hit album ‘Katalalika Wamabimbi’ in 2008 graced the 2015 festivities by performing their album tracks at various venues.
One outstanding gig was at the Prayer Worship Centre of the Pentecostal Holiness Church where the family gospel group ministered the word of God through music.
The family which has won the hearts of gospel music lovers in Zambia with their gospel lyrics, unity and passionate dances, delivered songs like the well-known ‘Katalalika Wamabimbi’, ‘Inkumbu Shenu’, ‘Ukusumina Muli Yesu’, ‘Epusukilo Lyamweo’ and ‘Tata Tatwabunde’.
Their music had a positive flair which made the audience sing and dance along.
One of the main vocalists in the Peace Preachers choir, Moses Chishimba said Zambia, being a Christian nation, should look to God for guidance as the country goes into a new year.
“Christmas is about the birth of Jesus Christ, He is the reason why we are alive today, hence the reason why we should praise and glorifying Him with songs of praise,” Chishimba said.
