By GWEN CHIPASULA and ADRIAN MWANZA at Nkoloma Stadium –  ZAMBIA Army side Green Buffaloes football club yesterday won the Defence and Security Forces four-team pre-season tournament finishing with seven points from three games. In yesterday’s decisive game Buffaloes beat the Zambia Air Force sponsored Red Arrows 3-0 in a one sided game that people expected to be full of fireworks. Victor Chimbulo scored a brace for. Buffaloes in the 80th and 86th minutes after Happy Kaunda’s first half strike on two minutes had given the 2015 Barclays Cup champions a first half slender lead.. Arrows new acquisition in midfielder Arthur Kaseloki missed a great opportunity to level when buffaloes were up by just one goal when they failed to convert a penalty after Buffaloes and Zambia defender adrian Chama had fouled him in the box. The effect of that miss was a Buffaloes counter-attack that resulted in Chimbulo scoring his first and Buffaloes second gaol. Other teams save for Buffaloes and Arrows that took part in this tournament are Green Eagles bankrolled by the Zambia National Service and Zambia Police outfit Nkwazi football club. In an earlier game, Nkwazi beat Eagles 3-0 to get third slot with the Choma side taking fourth position. Nkwazi’s Erick Chomba scored the first goal in the 10th minute with Jeff Banda adding a second in the 61st minute and then forceful forward Steward Chikandiwa scored the third goal 10 minutes later. Arrows, who were leading the table going into the final game, finished second with six points followed by Nkwazi on four points and Green Eagles finished without a point.
