DJEMBE Communications has hailed African governments for their strong commitment towards the implementation of the diversification agenda.
Djembe Communications managing director Mitchell Prather said there was a strong commitment from African governments to diversify their local economies and focus more on nurturing the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Mr Prather said the recent market challenges have demonstrated the importance to accelerate the economic diversification for Africa to achieve its desired goal.
“We are seeing a strong commitment from African governments to diversify local economies and focus more on fostering the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship,” he said.
According to a statement issued in Lusaka and made available to the Times in Lusaka, Mr Prather noted that six of the 10 fastest growing economies in the world were in Africa and the region was expected to grow further.
Mr Prather said underpinning much of the consulting assignments was the drive towards economic diversification in some of Africa’s biggest markets.
