PEPSI-Zambia has named Mumbelunga Funjika as the first winner of an all-expenses paid trip to the UEFA Champions League final in Milan, Italy.
Speaking during the presentation, acting Pepsi-Zambia spokesperson Lulu Haangala-Wood said the company was thrilled to be rolling out the competition and connecting Zambians to the footballing world.
“We are thrilled to be rolling out this competition and really connect Zambia to the global footballing world.
“We want to build on our culture of rewarding our customers and make more dreams come true,” she said.
Haangala said the competition was meant to create a platform for customer interaction, adding that the company would announce more winners in the coming days.
Pepsi will offer winner with two tickets for the game — two return flights for the winner and a partner of his choice, two nights hotel accommodation, a city tour, and a spending allowance.
Pepsi has committed to cover the costs of passports and visa applications.
Haangala said the competition was open to all citizens and legal residents of Zambia, adding four more winners would be announced in the coming weeks.
Pepsi became a UEFA Champions League sponsor at the start of the 2015/16 season and will send 10 lucky customers to the final in May this year.
