PATRIOTIC Front (PF) Munali Parliamentary candidate Nkandu Luo has assured people in the constituency of continued development if she is given another mandate.
Professor Luo said  she would tackle the problem of garbage in the area to ensure cleanliness.
Prof Luo was speaking during the Lusaka Province youth rally at Kalikiliki grounds yesterday.
“We have already bought tipper trucks to get rid of rubbish, but we are going to have a plant here where you the public will be bringing the rubbish that you have separated from your homes and those who will be managing the plant will give you some money while the youth will be making compost from the papers and other rubbish,” she said.
Prof Luo urged her supporters to vote for the PF for continued development in the country.
She said some of the development projects that the PF had accomplished in her Constituency were the maternity wing and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) centre in Chainda and the construction of five bridges in Mtendere.
Among other development projects Prof Luo had accomplished,  were the legalisation of plots in Mtendere, construction of a library and computer lab at Mahatma Gandhi school as well as, improving the sewer system in the area.
