JIMMY Kapala, the it’s Over Over hit coiner has called on his fellow artists to compose songs that will educate people on what the referendum is.
Jimmy says that he has noted that a lot of people in the country do not understand what the referendum is and as such they did not even know either to agree or disagree when casting their votes.
The Kafue based artiste disclosed that most artistes have concentrated on releasing campaign and peace tracks and very few have talked about the referendum, a topic many Zambians do not understand.
“I have noticed that very few Zambians understand what the referendum is and we are remaining with about a month to the polls as such since musicians are very influential people am urging them to sing about the referendum so that people will be able to know what it is.” he says.
Even at this call jimmy was quick to mention that artist should not tell people what to choose but just educate them and leave it to them to decide what they feel is best for them.
And on the hand the artiste has announced the release of his highly anticipated album next month under the title ‘Munda Nimuchabu.’
He describes it as a fully packed album that every music lover should look out for.
