ZAMBIA women stand-in coach, Charles Bwale has picked his final team ahead of tomorrow’s Namibia 2014 Africa Championship preliminary round, first leg qualifier match at Nkoloma Stadium.
Bwale has also urged the players to take the endurance shown in training onto the pitch and get the desired result over Tanzania ahead of the return leg in two weeks time.
Bwale said in an interview that the levels of endurance for the players have been impressive in training and that there was need for them to transform that on the field of play.
“I am happy with the preparations we have held so far and the onus now will be on the players to take the endurance they have shown in training onto the field of play.
It is encouraging that they have shown the desire to win. That is what we need as we go to the return leg. We need to seal off the game here,” he said.
The team has Hazel Banda, Mirriam Katamada, Meya Banda, Emeldah Musonda, Anita Mulenga, Susan Banda, Kabange Mupopo, Lweendo Chisamu, Racheal Lungu, Misozi Zulu, Etas Banda, Carol Howes, Noria Sosala, Hellen Mubanga, Deborah Chisanga, Grace Zulu and Eveness Mukwasa.
