About 40 coaches from across the continent are taking part in the 10 day training course at the Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC) in Lusaka.
Foloko expressed happiness that Zambia was accorded the honour of hosting the training course, which is usually held in Bucharest, for the second time.
“This course will equip us with new tactics to enable us deliver and improve the sport in our various countries,” he said.
The coaches have been drawn from hosts Zambia, Nigeria, Mozambique, Botswana, Seychelles, Cameroon, Swaziland, Cameroon, Libya and Kenya.
Zambian instructors attending the course include Moola Lipimile, Luckson Mulemwa, Saidi Kabemba, Mama Hamoonga Rachel Masuku, Humphrey Nyirenda, Andrew Kaswanga, Pelvin Lipande and William Kalunga.
Foloko said he was happy with the turnout and that the coaches were putting in their level best during the programme.
“I must say this programme is a success and it will yield positive results in both the country and the continent at large,” he said.
