MADISON General Insurance has chipped into next weekend’s Gomes-Pembe Zambia International Rally by providing insurance cover for all people involved in the race.
Zambia Motor Sport Association (ZMSA) president Sam Ching’ambu said the insurance cover will cater for the more than 2000 people involved, 37 of whom would be drivers.
“An event of this magnitude needs a lot of work and sponsorship most especially with insurance cover because the sport is a high risk one,” he said.
While not stating how much the cover would involve, he also said that ZMSA was on track in meeting the budget for the event.
