JUNIOR Chambers International Zambia (JCIZ) has called for an inter-change of ideas among entrepreneurs.
JCI area director in charge of growth and development Arrey Obenson said this when he visited the Zambia chapter yesterday.
Mr Obenson who is based in the United States of America said that JCI’s vision was to maintain one voice of young entrepreneurs throughout the world.
He said that JCI would contribute to the advancement of young leadership among entrepreneurs in Zambia and throughout Africa.
“We want to make it a one voice for young leaders in entrepreneurship,” he said.
He said that the best economies in the world were those whose governments allowed their people to stretch their imagination.
And JCI Zambia spokesperson Maambo Haamaundu said that the association endevoured to develop leaders in entrepreneurship.
Mr Haamaundu urged other entrepreneurs whose age was between 18 and 40 to join the association.
He said that JCI has been in existence in Zambia since 1950 though it had not been very active in the past.
“There is potential in Zambia among entrepreneurs which should be tapped,” he said.
