1time airline to expand

SOUTH African low-cost airline, 1time has said the Zambian aviation market is offering attractive opportunities and the airline is looking to introduce more flights in the country as it expands into the region.
According to the Business Day newspaper of South Africa, 1time commercial director Desmond O’Connor has said the airline, which already has one flight into Livingstone, was looking at other destinations that are opening up in Zambia.
Mr O’Connor said Zambia, along with Zimbabwe, offered great opportunities for the growth of airlines trying to penetrate the regional markets.
1time is continuing to focus on expanding into the region, with plans to add Zimbabwe and new routes in Zambia to its growing network, the newspaper reports.
“The skies over Zimbabwe and Zambia are opening up and we see some exciting opportunities there,” he was quoted as saying.
