ZAMBIA has recorded 5,255 COVID-19 positive cases out of 16,774 tests conducted raising the positivity rate to about 31 per cent well above the five per cent maximum recommended level. This, Health Minister Sylvia Masebo says, has raised Government concern on the pandemic in the country. Meanwhile, 52 police officers have tested positive for the virus while one officer has died in Southern Province. Ms Masebo said in yesterday’s COVID-19 update that the cumulative number of cases hit 243,638 and that 10 people died.
