TWENTY-SEVEN pupils at Lunte boarding school in Northern Province are suffering from a strange disease that causes body movement disorder.
Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary technical services Lackson Kasonka said in a statement yesterday that the ministry is following up the case with a call for calm, as this was not a public health emergency.
Professor Kasonka said the school on Tuesday last week reported numerous cases of pupils reporting similar signs and symptoms of having difficulties in walking, feeling weak, and having painful knees and ankles.
