COMESA exports rise to $156bn

THE value of Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA)’s total exports to the world increased by 56 per cent from US$100 billion in 2020 to $156 billion in 2021, COMESA has said.
COMESA director of trade and customs Christopher O’nyango attributed the development to increases in the export of manufacturers, fuels, ores and metals as well as food.
