THE Judiciary has drawn a 2023-2027 strategic plan to review election dispute procedures and prepare the Judiciary to effectively handle the 2026 general election petitions and disputes within a short period.
Acting Chief Justice Michael Musonda said the country had continued to record a consistent increase in the number of petitions after elections and that the Judiciary should be able to cool the moods by providing timely resolutions.
Mr Justice Musonda was speaking at the Lusaka High Court grounds yesterday during the launch of the Advisory Committee on Election Management.
