KAGEM mining in partnership with the Government is constructing the first-ever polytechnic university in Zambia to help bridge the skills gap in the mining sector.
The $2.5million project is located in Lufwanyama District.
Science and Technology Minister Felix Mutati said the Government was making efforts to ensure there was technical and skills transfer in rural districts to enable local communities to benefit from projects such as mining investments.
