TOP seed Edgar Kazembe fought from 2-0 in the first set to win 6-3 on his way to claiming the inaugural Zambia Compulsory Standards Agency (ZCSA) national championship in straight sets over Chileshe Chansa.
And in the women’s singles, Christabel Chisongo claimed another title after defeating her twin sister Isabel 2-0.
In an interview after winning the title, Kazembe put it down to mental strength and preparations heading into the Mika Zambia Open later this month.
“I’m happy at winning the title and winning both the singles and doubles makes me feel young again. But I prepared hard for this one, it was a good tournament throughout and knew what to do every time in the final,” he said.
